Start-ing with theoretical background, this thesis considers different views on how ultra and hooligan groups are perceived and whether they are distinguished. As an emphasis the study examines not only the different standpoints (internal and external) of how the certain fan groups are perceived. Moreover the propensity towards violence and use of violent force of ultras and hooligans is examined.},
