N2  - Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der Bedeutung der Nachhaltigkeit im Eventmanagement. Dazu wird die Vorgehensweise in dem Bereich des Sustainability Management und die Umsetzung der nachhaltigen Entwicklung bei industriellen Großunternehmen untersucht. Des Weiteren werden die Instrumente des Eventmanagements zu einer nachhaltigeren Entwicklung betrachtet und anhand eines praktischen Beispiels verdeutlicht. Das Ziel dieser Thesis ist es, eine branchenunabhängige Handlungsempfehlung für Unternehmen zu entwickeln, durch welche die nachhaltige Entwicklung sowohl im gesamten Unternehmen, als auch im Eventbereich verankert wird.
N2  - The Topic of this work is about the analysis of themean-ing of the sustainability in the event management. Therefore the approach in the area of sustainability management and the implementation of sustainable development within large companies is to be analysed. Furthermore the instruments of the event management related to a sustainable development are to be clarified in a practical example. The objective of this thesis is to develop a sector neutral recommendation through which the sustainable development is to be fixed both in the complete company and in the event area.
