N2  - Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, einen Überblick über die Theorie und For - schung zum Thema individueller Begabung im Zusammenhang mit Sport zu geben. Hierbei interessieren vor allem solche Theorien, welche die Entstehung von Begabung erklären. Der Hauptfokus soll auf den Wechselwirkungen zwischen der sportlichen Begabung von Kindern und deren Familien liegen, bezüglich Struktur und Sozialisation der letzteren. Dies wird abschließend anhand eines praktischen Beispiels dargestellt.
N2  - The purpose of the present work is to provide an overview about theory and research on the subject of individual sport-related giftedness. In this connection the initial interest are those theories, which illustrate the origin of giftedness. The main focus should be on the correlations between the athletic giftedness of children and their families, regarding the structure and socialisation of the latter. Finally, this will be illustrated with the help of a practical example.
