TY - THES U1 - Bachelor Thesis A1 - Sönnichsen, Lea Charlott T1 - Möglichkeiten und Werkzeuge der Visualisierung komplexer Sachverhalte im Bewegtbild N2 - Visualisation of complex matters by moving pictures is an act of complexity. Theories of cognition show the importance of combined audio-visual perception for learning and remembering. Active learning processes benefits memory. The knowledge about these facts makes it possible to find fitting tools for visualisation that help to reduce complexity and to support the act of cognition. These are for example didactical reduction, gestalt theory, narration or drawing attention by movement. Complex matters are visualised by explainer videos. There is a wide range of possible moving pictures formats like cut out animation, whiteboard animation, animated cartoon, 2D animation, 3D animation, simulation, virtual lab and serious games. They are all illustrating and showing complex matters, which means pure horizontal reduction. As German created term “Bewegtbild” is already used in practise but without official definition, it seemed to be natural to ask scientific experts about their ideas concerning moving pictures’ definition and its possibilities to visualise complex matters. Further empirical research concerning moving pictures’ capabilities illustrates its acceptance and targeted use in practice. In future further technological inventions are to be expected, which means continuous research. KW - Visualisierung KW - Bewegtes Bild Y2 - 2015 ER -
