N2  - In the 1930, during farmer act ivities in the village Görzig in Saxony-Anhalt, human bones from the era of emigration of nations were found. The skeletal material comes  time from the end of the Roman Empire and the beginning of the migration period. During the excavations 75 tombs have been discovered. In the present study the skeletal remains of the feet were examined. From the skeletal material, especially the foot bones, age, gender and body height are determined using morphological and morphometric methods. These methods have been performed on all existing foot bones. On the basis of morphological methods, the age could be determined. By means of morphometric methods, gender and body height are determined. For this methods were used discriminant functions and body height estimation formulas from various publications.
