N2  - Diese Bachelorarbeit analysiert den Anteil von Personifikation und Darstellung von Emotionen am Erfolg computeranimierter Spielfilme. Hierfür wird zuerst auf die Geschichte der Animation, sowie auf verschiedene Arten der 2D und 3D Animation eingegangen. Daraufhin wird ein Überblick über die Erfolge der verschiedenen Animationsstudios geschaffen. Im Anschluss werden die wichtigsten Merkmale der Personifikation und der Emotionsvermittlung erläutert und an Hand von Beispielen aus dem Hause DreamWorks Animation und den Pixar Animation Studios analysiert und verglichen.
N2  - This bachelor thesis analyzes the portion of personification and representation of emotions in the success of computer-animated feature films. Therefore the history of animation will first be addressed, as well as different types of 2D and 3D animation. Hereupon, an overview of the achievements of the various Animation Studios will be given. Following the main features of personification and the representation of emotions will be analyzed and compared using examples of DreamWorks Animations and Pixar Animations Studios Productions.
