N2  - Inhalt dieser Arbeit sind die IT-Infrastruktur und der Fokus auf die virtuelle Arbeitsplatzumgebung sowie die Darstellung der Vor- und Nachteile. Es wird die Basis einer IT-Infrastruktur in allen Bereichen inklusive Risikomanagement und Risikocontrolling im IT-Bereich beleuchtet. Die Varianten der IT-Infrastruktur die sowohl herkömmliche als auch die virtuelle Variante werden im praktischen Teil am Beispiel der Wirtschaftskammer Kärnten evaluiert. Am Ende werden die Ergebnisse zusammengefasst und die nötigen Maßnahmen beschrieben.
N2  - This thesis work is focussing on the virtual workplace environment and and the presentation of advantages and disadvantages. The next step is the focus on the base of an IT infrastructure, including risk management and risk controlling inside the IT. The variants of the IT infrastructure both conventional and the virtual variant will be evaluated in the practical part using the example of the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce. The results are summarized and the necessary measures are described at the end.
