N2  - The following bachelor thesis pursues the goal to state the influence of news factors on a radio journalists process of selection of news. Due to independent study, it was attempted to analyze the theory of news value and its related patterns for possible implementation.
Therefore the newscast of a private radio station was daily documented for a week. On one hand the results can give information on the study. On the other, they hardly allow a generalization, regarding the argumentation of selection criteria.
The bachelor thesis is interesting for media science students, as well as for instructors of this domain.
