Einfluss verschiedener Parameter auf quantitative Messungen mit einer Gammakamera und Phantoms

  • The purpose of all the experiment is to search influences and effects of different parameters which based on the measure results of a gamma camera by using phantoms. The result will be analyzed and discussed quantitatively and qualitatively. In a gamma camera, there are different recording techniques. In this work, tomographic measurement data are considered, which are obtained by iterative reconstruction from planar images from different spatial directions. There were a total of 5 series of measurements, which were carried out for the investigation of influen ces of various factors on the measurement results. The aim of the work: The influence of the quantities contrast, object size (partial volume effect), radiation energy (nuclide), impulse statistics, attenuation correction and motion artefacts shall be determined quantitatively experimentally. This involves using a phantom with objects of various sizes, changing the contrast of these objects to the ground to create different contrasts of the objects to their environment. The influence of different nuclides is considered by taking images of the same measurement geometry with different nuclides, the influence of the statistics by taking images with different durations of time while maintaining the same measurement geometry. The influence of the attenuation correction is determined by acquiring different materials in the vicinity of a homogeneously distributed liquid (water) and their influence on the CT based attenuation correction, investigating the influence of different CT images on the measured values and ending with an investigation the influence of different distances between the detector and the phantom and the influence of individual movements during the acquiring on the measurement results.
