Die effektive Verknüpfung von Live- und Social Media-Marketing im Eventmanagement

The effective combination of Live- and Social Media-Marketing in the Event Management

  • The present bachelor thesis discusses the question, which advantages and disadvantages Live- and Social Media-Marketing have and how those marketing strategies can be combined effectively to hybrid events. Though this dissertation restricts itself to B2C-Events for product launches. Furthermore, the intention of this thesis is to explore how intensively it is transformed into practice already. The question is followed up by literature-based analysis and expert interviews. This dissertation concludes, that Social Media, especially because of its high range, lots of possibilities for interaction, feedback and advertisement without a big loss of divergence, can be connected effectively with Live-Marketing through its longlasting experience and personal dialogues. The present bachelor thesis shows different opportunities of the said combination beforehand, during and after events, for example voting-tools, event-apps or interactive walls. Additionally, it demonstrates that the theoretical possibilities are not put into practice comprehensively, though Social Media gets included into Live-Marketing increasingly. At the time of this dissertation more as an additional component, the integrative synergy between Live- and Social Media-Marketing becomes more important in the future though.
