Herausforderung Elektromobilität : Analyse der Auswirkungen des Antriebskonzeptes auf die Verkehrsinfrastruktur am Beispiel Stuttgart und Stockholm

The Challenge of Electromobility : Analysis of the effects of the Drive Concept on Transport Infrastructure using Stuttgart and Stockholm as Examples

  • Changes in mobility and transport are the key issues for a climate-neutral future. Electrification, automation and connectivity are regarded as key drivers of change. Electric mobility in particular is becoming increasingly important and poses major challenges for mobility and transport. E-mobility is also a much-discussed topic in the public eye. E-mobility is forcing automobile manufacturers to rethink their approach, and the importance of this topic can be assumed on the basis of intensive research by the automotive industry. In the coming years, the transport infrastructure in connection with the electric charging infrastructure of European countries will have to adapt to the change in mobility and thus to e-mobility. It is particularly important to develop concepts for setting up a suitable charging infrastructure and to ensure an adequate power supply through the power grid. A further central goal is independence from fossil resources, which is pushed forward by electric mobility. In the broader sense, e-mobility offers the opportunity to develop new business models, such as Car-Sharing. Research assumes that the car will become less and less important in the future, so that changes in people's mobility behaviour are indispensable. Due to the particular relevance of this topic, the following research questions arise for this work: 1. To what extent will the mobility of the future be influenced by trends, especially mega trends? 2. To what extent must the transport infrastructure adapt to changing mobility in order to guarantee and advance emobility in the future? The following work aims to investigate the development of mobility up to infrastructural adaptations in the transport sector caused by e-mobility. Thus, the current state of research on this topic can be illuminated and possible future scenarios can be presented.
