Construction and commissioning of a component test bench for the acoustic indication of the torque ripple, dynamic moments and structural connection forces as well as the structure-borne sound radiation of an electric motor

  • The main objective of this work is the construction and start-up of a component test bench for determining and achieving the dynamic torques of an electric motor. The test bench concept is based on the Blocked Force condition for the measurement of translational forces and transfers this to the rotary application. The result is a classic doublemass system as an abstract measuring concept. Theoretically the requirements for the test bench construction are examined and possible limitations are determined. In the practical part, the implementation of the concept and a successful metrological validation of this approach by parameter variation takes place. The dynamic torques of an electric motor and their interaction with a function for active noise generation are firstly determined. In the future, further investigations and possibilities for the further development of the test bench are proposed.
