Encryption Trojans, Impacts and Consequences on a medium-sized company and possible preventions by InterceptX and Sandstorm from Sophos
- Ziel der vorliegenden Bachelorarbeit ist es, über das Thema Verschlüsselungstrojaner aufzuklären und dabei auf eine mögliche Prävention durch die Produkte Sandstorm und Intercept X der Firma Sophos einzugehen. Dabei wird besonders auf die Gefahren und Präventionsmöglichkeiten im Allgemeinen eingegangen sowie eine Sicherheitsanalyse im Themenspezifischen Kontext durchgeführt. Weiterhin wird der Anbieter Sophos mit anderen Anbietern verglichen und anhand von verschiedenen Parametern bewertet.
- The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to educate about the topic of encryption trojans and to discuss the possible prevention throught the products Sandstorm and Intercept X of the company Sophos. In particular, the dangers and prevention options are addressed in general and a safety analysis is carried out in a topic-specific context. Furthermore, the provider Sophos is compared with other providers and different parameters.
