• Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich mit dem Film „Parasite“ des koreanischen Regisseurs Bong Joon Ho auseinander. Ziel ist es darzustellen, welche Wirkung der Film auf den Zuschauer ausübt, mit dem Schwerpunkt auf die Wirkungsweise der Genrevermischung. Dafür wird zunächst eine theoretische Grundlage über Genres vermittelt, um anschließend eine Filmanalyse nach dem 4-Stufen-Modell nach Werner Faulstich durchzufüh-ren. Anhand der Analyse wird sowohl die Wirkungsweise als auch die damit zusammenhängende Botschaft des Filmes veranschaulicht.
• This paper deals with the film "Parasite" by the Korean director Bong Joon Ho. The aim is to show what effect the film has on the viewer, with a focus on the effect of genre mixing. For this purpose, first a theoretical basis about genres is conveyed, in order to then carry out a film analysis according to the 4-stage model by Werner Faulstich. On the basis of the analysis, both the effect and the related message of the film will be illustrated.
