ALEX Berlin is a medium-size public broadcasting station which combines usergenerated content, media education and unique content creation in the capitol of germany. Along with the upcoming relocation in 2016, this company has a unique chance in entirely optimizing its structures and processes. As the media industry is continuously converting, ALEX wants to leave the old workflows and habits behind. Rethinking every part of this company can assure a longterm survival within the idea of becoming an open space for Berlins creative society with an exciting, cross-medial storytelling and a centralized multichannel distribution. This thesis analyzes main workflow optimizations for ALEX Berlin and reveals ideas for all companies alike
