Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Förderung kindlicher Medienkompetenz. Bei der Medienerziehung hin zu einem reflektierten und selbstbestimmten Medienhandeln von Null- bis Zwölfjährigen haben Eltern eine Schlüsselrolle. Entsprechend des Entwicklungsstandes des Kindes müssen Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, um sie präventiv vor Gefährdungen durch übermäßigen Konsum oder ungeeignete Inhalte zu schützen.
Im Fokus des Erkenntnisinteresses steht die Frage: „Wie können Eltern die Medienkompetenz ihrer Kinder im Bereich des Film- und Fernsehens fördern?“ Dazu benötigt es ein Verständnis über die kindliche Wahrnehmung von digitalen Bildern innerhalb der Entwicklungsstufen, die sie durchlaufen. Außerdem muss der Begriff Medienkompetenz entschlüsselt und auf die einzelnen Bestandteile des Wissens, Bewertens und Handelns untersucht werden. Der Verfasser fokussiert dabei die Frage, warum aus pädagogischer Sicht gerade Eltern für die Vermittlung so wichtig sind.
Der Fragestellung wird anhand einer Literaturarbeit nachgegangen. Gegenüber-gestellt werden dafür die Abhandlungen von Medienpädagogen wie Baacke, Schorb und Aufenanger zur Medienkompetenz mit den Erkenntnissen aus der Entwicklungspsychologie von Kindern. Hinzugezogene empirische Studien über die Nutzung und Wirkung des Fernseh- und Filmangebotes bei Kindern belegen die theoretischen Annahmen. Darauf aufbauend kann abschließend ein Leitfaden für die familiäre Film- und Fernsehnutzung erstellt werden, der die Entwicklung der Medienkompetenz beim Kind zum Ziel hat.
Der Verfasser kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass Kinder fähig sind, Medienkompetenz zu entwickeln, wenn sie entsprechend gefördert werden. Um das komplexe Konstrukt der digitalen Bilder mit den verschiedenen Eindrücken, Symboliken und Botschaften zu entschlüsseln, müssen sie erst passende Rezeptionsstrategien erlernen. Dies ist nur möglich, wenn Kinder genügend Erfahrungen mit dem Medium in ihrer Kindheit machen können. Eltern ist es möglich, den kognitiven Entwicklungsstand ihres Kindes am besten einzuschätzen und ihnen dafür einen geschützten Raum zu bieten. Zur Förderung der Medienkenntnis wird zum gemeinschaftlichen Fernsehkonsum geraten. Hier können Eltern dem Kind beim Entschlüsseln der Informationen helfen und einen richtigen Umgang mit dem Medium vorleben. Fernsehen ist jedoch kein adäquater Ersatz für Erfahrungen im realen Leben. Eltern sollten darauf achten, dass ihr Kind Filme und Fernsehen nur im bestimmten Maße genießt. Dieses Vorgehen ebnet den Weg für ein selbstständiges und reflektiertes Medienhandeln.
Welche schädlichen Auswirkungen kann die massive Nutzung von sozialen Medien im Kindesalter haben

Die Intention dieser Arbeit ist es, welche negativen Einflüsse soziale Medien auf Kinder unter vierzehn Jahren haben können. Näher betrachtet werden hierbei die Apps WhatsApp, YouTube, und Facebook. Der Fragestellung wird anhand einer literaturbasierten Analyse, sowie dem Einbezug von repräsentativen Studien nachgegangen.
Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Konsumverhalten von Kindern. Dabei werden die Werbepsychologischen Maßnahmen berücksichtigt, welche die Kinder in ihren Kaufentscheidungen beeinflussen. Kinder haben schon im frühen Alter Zugriff auf unterschiedliche Medien, über welche sie mit Werbung in Kontakt geraten. Es soll herausgefunden werden, welche Medien die Kinder am meisten nutzen und welche Mittel diese verwenden, um die Kinder zu beeinflussen. Zudem wird die Marke “kinder Überraschung” in Bezug auf ihre neue Werbekampange “Neugier Live” untersucht.
Die vorliegende Arbeit verfährt nach dem medienwissenschaftlichen Instrument der quantitativen Inhaltsanalyse. Die Erkenntnisse werden durch empirische Forschungsergebnisse und beispielhafte Darstellungen gewonnen. Ziel ist es, Gründe für die unterschiedlichen Zuschauermarktanteile der privaten Kindersender NICK und Super RTL aufzudecken. Hierzu wird das Programm der beiden Sender miteinander verglichen, analysiert und ausgewertet. Zudem wird auch die Werbeaktivität der beiden Sender miteinander verglichen. Hierzu werden beide Sender einen Tag parallel zur selben Tageszeit betrachtet. Die gewonnenen Daten führen anschließend zu Gründen für die unterschiedlichen Zuschauermarktanteile bei NICK und Super RTL.
Die vorliegende Arbeit erörtert die Erfolgsfaktoren für das Zielgruppenmarketing in der Modebranche für Kinder und welche Handlungen für kinderbezogenes Marketing empfohlen werden können. Durch die theoretische Analyse des Modebusiness, der Zielgruppe Kinder, des Modemarketings sowie des Modemanagements kann zunächst erörtert werden, welche Kommunikationsintrumente und Medien für das Zielgruppenmarketing für Kinder in der Modebranche geeignet sind, um die Zielgruppe Kinder für sich zu gewinnen. Um kinderbezogenes Marketing in der Modebranche erfolgreich anwenden zu können, ist es wichtig, zu wissen, welche Medien Kinder nutzen, worauf sie achten und durch welche Instrumente und Faktoren sie angesprochen werden.
Der unaufhaltsame und fundamentale Wandel der gesellschaftlichen Strukturen lässt chronische Erkrankungen im Kindes- und Jugendalter verstärkt in den Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung der deutschen Bevölkerung rücken. Die permanenten Veränderungen der Lebensumstände und die daraus resultierende Zunahme von Asthma bronchiale, Allergien, Übergewicht, Adipositas und Verhaltensauffälligkeiten sorgen für eine besorgniserregende Verschiebung des Krankheitsspektrums und eine Verschlechterung der gesundheitlichen Lage. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll die Auswirkungen des gesellschaftlichen Wandels auf die Gesundheit von Kindern- und Jugendlichen aufzeigen und analysieren. Zu Beginn werden die thematischen Rahmenbedingungen und die wesentlichen (folgenreichsten) chronischen Erkrankungen des Kindes- und Jugendalters erörtert, um anschließend den gesellschaftlichen Wandel als Rahmenbedingung für die Gesundheit von Kindern und Jugendlichen darzulegen. Dabei liegt das Hauptaugenmerk neben dessen einflussreichsten Bestandteilen auf den durch eine Rehabilitation zur Verfügung stehenden Maßnahmen zur Prävention und Verbesserung.
Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit zeigt die Zusammenhänge von Adipositas und dem Gebrauch von Medien bei Kindern und Jugendlichen auf. Hierzu wurde zunächst Adipositas genauer definiert und eine Aufzählung von möglichen Gründen für Adipositas gegeben. Anschließend wurde das mediale Thema näher erörtert. Dort wurde eine Rangfolge der beliebstesten Medien unter Kindern aufgestellt. Danach wurden die einzelnen Medien genauer beschrieben und die Art der Einflussnahme auf Kinder untersucht. Im Anschluss daran wurden beide Themengebiete zusammengeführt und ein Zusammenhang zwischen Adipositas und dem medialen Konsum analysiert. Des Weiteren wurden Verbesserungsbeispielse, anhand von bestehenden Medienkampagnen, für die aktuelle Medienwelt erarbeitet und ein Ausblick in die Zukunft gegeben.
Diese Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, welche Präventions- und Therapiemaßnahmen im Rahmen einer Adipositas im Kindes und Jugendalter existieren und bisher erfolgreich waren. Zu Beginn wird die Problemstellung zu diesem Thema erklärt und die Erkrankung der Adipositas näher definiert. Es werden Einflussfaktoren genannt, welche zum Übergewicht und Adipositas führen können. Folglich werden Präventionsmaßnahmen erörtert, die dieser Krankheit entgegenwirken können. Im Verlauf der Arbeit werden Therapiemaßnahmen für übergewichtige und adipöse Kinder und Jugendliche vorgestellt. Unter Einbindung des transtheoretischen Modells wird eine eigene Ausarbeitung einer möglichen Therapie dargestellt. Zur Klärung, ob Eltern auf die Ernährung ihrer Kinder achten und welche Meinung sie über Therapie- und Präventionsmaßnahmen für Adipositas haben, wird daher eine Umfrage mit ihnen durchgeführt.
Schon lange wird über die Wirkung von Food-Werbung auf Kinder diskutiert, da Kinder unserer Gesellschaft immer dicker werden und diese Werbung häufig dafür verantwortlich gemacht wird. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht, ob dies eine begründete Angst ist bzw. welche anderen Einflussfaktoren es für Übergewicht bei Kindern gibt und ob Sozialkampagnen eine zielführende Maßnahme darstellen, um Kinder bei ihrer gesunden Ernährung zu unterstützen. Hierzu wurden beispielhaft drei Kampagnen eines Wirtschaftsunternehmens, einer NPO und eine Kampagne aus der öffentlichen Hand hinsichtlich ihrer Gestaltung, Ansprache und ihrem Aufbau untersucht. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung legen dar, dass Sozialkampagnen durchaus in der Lage sind, Kinder zielführend zu erreichen. Allerdings stellt sich die Ansprache als schwierig heraus, da Kinder bei der Ernährung immer abhängig von anderen Personen sind, weswegen diese ebenfalls eng in die Kampagne mit eingebunden werden müssen.
Die Verfasserin der Arbeit stellt dar, ob gewalthaltige Computerspiele zu Aggression und Gewalt bei Kindern und Jugendlichen führen können. Dabei wird auf einzelne Grundelemente der klassischen und neuen Medien eingegangen; es werden Hardware, Software und Konsolen erörtert. Die Marktentwicklung und Vermarktung verschafft einen kurzen Einblick auf interessante Zahlen. Die Arbeit bietet hauptsächlich eine gute Grundlage an Wissen über die (gewalthaltige) Computerspielwelt. Gewisse Aspekte werden aufgezeigt, die Schuld auf etwas vermeintlich Falsches zu schieben, ist dabei die schematischste Lösung. Die Hauptelemente sind die Wirkungsweisen von Gewalt und Aggression, die anhand eines Beispiels erläutert werden. Darauf folgen der Jugendmedienschutz und ein kurzer Blick in die Zukunft der Spiele. Des Weiteren sollen der Horizont von Sichtweisen auf die wesentlichen Probleme gelenkt und Lösungen ergänzt werden. Den Abschluss der Arbeit bildet eine Schlussbetrachtung des gesamten Themas mit einem Ergebnis.
Diese Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung eines neuen Mobiltelefon-Services für die Zielgruppe Kinder im Alter von 8-12 Jahren. Sie beleuchtet dabei das Zielgruppenmarketing und die Zielgruppensegmentierung. Im Anschluss werden die Bedürfnisse, Erwartungen und Lebenswelten der Zielgruppe untersucht. Das Kapitel ‚Anspracheformen der Zielgruppe‘ befasst sich mit den traditionellen- und individuellen Kommunikationsinstrumenten. Neben den Anforderungenan ein Kinderhandy wird eine Konkurrenzanalyse betrachtet. Abschließend wird diese Arbeit unter Berücksichtigung einer Expertenbefragung Erfolgsfaktoren und Handlungsempfehlungen aufführen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, ein Idealhandy für Kinder im Alter von 8-12 Jahren aufzuzeigen.
Die Nominierung von POM-BÄR für den goldenen Windbeutel 2013 bildet den Anlass dieser Bachelorarbeit. Ziel ist die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Marketing für Kinder am Beispiel der Kartoffelsnack-Marke POM-BÄR. Die Firma Intersnack, zu der die Marke POM-BÄR gehört, hat sich 2010 gemeinsam mit der European Snacks Association (ESA) dem EU Pledge, einer freiwilligen Selbstverpflichtung für verantwortungsvolles Marketing, angeschlossen. Es wurde vereinbart, grundsätzlich keine Werbung an Kinder unter zwölf Jahren zu richten, außer für Produkte, die bestimmte ernährungsphysiologische Vorgaben erfüllen. POM-BÄR wird vom Hersteller trotz unausgewogener Nährwertzusammensetzung als kind-gerecht bewertet und vom EU Pledge ausgenommen. In der vorliegenden Bachelor-arbeit soll auf die Richtlinien, Mitglieder und Studien des EU Pledge einge-gangen und ihre Wirksamkeit analysiert werden. Darüber hinaus wird die Haltung von Intersnack bzw. der European Snacks Association zu Ethik im Marketing, Selbstverständnis und Sponsoring herausgearbeitet. Die Markengeschichte, Zielgruppe, werbliche Ansprache und Werbemaßnahmen von POM-BÄR sollen ebenfalls analysiert und kritisch hinterfragt werden. Studien zum Konsumverhalten von Kindern und deren Einfluss auf die Kaufentscheidung von Eltern werden darüber hinaus in die Bachelorarbeit einfließen. Im Anschluss soll die ethische Verantwortung im Marketing für Kinder sowie die Verantwortlichkeit der Eltern beim Kauf ungesunder Lebensmittel diskutiert werden.
In dieser wissenschaftlichen Abhandlung wird ein Konzept zur Weitergabe verkehrspädagogischer Lerninhalte durch den Gebrauch neuer Medien erstellt, welches Kindern ein verantwortungsbewusstes Verhalten im Straßenverkehr vermitteln soll. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die inhaltliche und grafische Gestaltung einer Applikation für Tablet-Computer und Smartphones unter Berücksichtigung psychologischer und pädagogischer Aspekte der Verkehrserziehung. Die hier entstehende Anwendung soll für Kinder visuell und intellektuell attraktiv sein und ihre Entscheidungskompetenz im Straßenverkehr unterstützten.
Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Mitwirkung von Kindern und Jugendlichen bei Medienproduktionen und die Debatte um eine Novellierung des Jugendarbeitsschutzgesetzes, im speziellen Paragraph 6 „ Ausnahmen für Veranstaltungen“. Nach Schilderung der Ausgangslage, werden die Ziele und Forderungen der unterschiedlichen Interessengruppen gefiltert und deren Argumentationen in der Diskussion um die Mitwirkung von Kindern und Jugendlichen bei Film- und Fernsehproduktionen gegenüber gestellt.
Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Wirkung des Fernsehens auf Kinder im Alter von drei bis fünf Jahren am Beispiel der computeranimierten Serie „Die Duddels“, in Bezugnahme auf deren Aktivierungspotential zu untersuchen. Dafür wird der Entwicklungsstand und auf welche Weise die Fernsehwahrnehmung dieses Alters erfolgt, ermittelt. Durch die genaue Definition des Begriffes „Aktivierung“ in Form von drei bzw. vier Stufen, können die in einem Experiment beobachteten Reaktionen benannt, eingeordnet und ausgewertet werden. Abschließend erfolgen eine Zusammenfassung der Forschungsergebnisse sowie die Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage
Seit einigen Jahren gehören Kinder zu einer der am schnellsten wachsenden Gruppen der Internetnutzer. Durch die Spezialisierung verschiedener Anbieter auf die besonderen Präferenzen und Kompetenzen junger Nutzer hat sich eine breite Auswahl an Internetangeboten für Kinder etabliert. Die Masterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit neuartigen virtuellen Welten, die speziell für Kinder konzipiert werden. Diese Casual Immersive Worlds unterscheiden sich in ihren Intentionen und ihrer Funktionalität von allen bisherigen Internetangeboten für Kinder. Wie bei vielen anderen Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Neuen Medien werden auch diese neuen virtuellen Welten von Öffentlichkeit und Forschung mit Skepsis beobachtet. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Casual Immersive World Habbo auf die Bedürfnisse von Kindern und mögliche Gefährdungspotentiale hin zu untersuchen. Durch eine empirische qualitative Untersuchung von Kindern im Alter von 12 und 13 Jahren werden die unterschiedlichen Arten des Umgangs bei der Erkundung und Nutzung der Casual Immersive World analysiert und daraufhin verschiedene Bedürfnistypen entwickelt. Dabei lässt sich ein besonderes Gewicht der Bedürfnisse Kommunikation, Spiel und Repräsentation nachweisen. Weiterhin kommt die Arbeit zu dem Schluss, dass angenommene Gefährdungspotentiale bisheriger virtueller Welten und Bildschirmspiele nicht ohne weiteres auf Casual Immersive Worlds angewendet werden können.
Medienkindheit : Womit verbringen Kinder ihre Freizeit und welche Rolle spielen Medien dabei?

Die Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Freizeitgestaltung der Kinder heute und dem damit verbundenen Wandel. Medien spielen heute als Beschäftigungsmöglichkeit eine viel größere Rolle als früher und es soll anhand von Studien untersucht werden, wie viel Zeit Kinder mit Fernseher, Computer, Spielkonsole usw. verbringen. In den letzten Jahrzehnten ist die Entwicklung der Medien geradzu explodiert und man kann von einem Überfluss an Angeboten für Kinder sprechen. Blickt man 50 Jahre zurück haben sich damals die Kinder mit völlig anderen Dingen beschäftigt, als heute und an eine derartige Entwicklung von Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten war nicht zu denken. Um herauszufinden was zum Beispiel die liebsten Freizeitbeschäftigungen sind wurde zum einen die Studienreihe KIM –Kinder und Medien 2006 und zum anderen die Studienreihe JIM - mit dem Untertitel „Jugend, Information, (Multi-) Media“ betrachtet und untersucht. Außerdem wird diskutiert inwiefern Kinderzimmer und Haushalte mit Medien ausgestattet sind und welche Wirkung der Konsum auf die Entwicklung des Kindes hat. Die Ausgangsfrage der Arbeit beschäftigt sich damit, ob man von einer sogenannten „Medienkindheit“ sprechen kann. Anhand wissenschaftlicher Belege wird beobachtet, inwiefern Medien in der Alltag der Kinder einfließen und wie gerne sie im Gegensatz dazu draußen mit Freunden spielen, malen und zeichnen oder auch Sport mit anderen Kindern treiben.
