This master thesis was developed based on public information about Linde AG. It analyzed and evaluated macroeconomic factors influencing the pеrformance of the company. Microeconomic and macroeconomic indicators play the central role for the financial management of each global company. Thus, performance measurement is important for understanding the vаlue and extent of the environment. The study of the thesis aims at estimating the extent to which a company may opеrate on the global market and what factors contribute to its performance the most.
Firstly, the thesis examines theoretical background based on the previous researches. It defines the specific macroeconomic and microeconomic factors and their role in the company’s performance. Afterwards the thesis analyses Linde AG activities on domestic and foreign markets. The present structure, the current position in the markets and financial indicators are analyzed. The correlation and regression analysis were developed with the aim to find the links between the company’s performance and the macroeconomic environment. It is believed that inflation, exchange and interest rates as well as stock market index have a significant influence on the Linde’s performance.
The results showed that the indicators of inflation rate and stock market index play a significant role in the Linde’s performance. Thus, when it comes to exchanging rates, more data needs to be evaluated in order to derive concrete conclusions.
Die vorliegende Masterarbeit befasst sich mit dem Konstrukt der organisationalen Ambidextrie im Kontext der Digitalisierung von Unternehmen. Im Zentrum der Betrachtung steht die Frage, welche Möglichkeiten organisationale Ambidextrie für Unternehmen hinsichtlich der Digitalisierung bietet und welche Grenzen dieses Konstrukt
dahingehend aufweist. Die kompilatorische Ausarbeitung basiert auf den theoretischen und konzeptionellen Grundlagen dieser beiden Themenfelder. Für die Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage wurden die relevantesten Formen der organisationalen Ambidextrie mit den aktuellen Einflüssen der Digitalisierung auf Unternehmen in Beziehung gesetzt. In diesem Zuge wurden die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des Ambidextrie-Modells für die Geschäftsmodelle und -prozesse sowie die unternehmensinternen und -externen Anspruchsgruppen herausgearbeitet.
Diese Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit der Thematik, wie strategisches Management einen langfristigen Unternehmenserfolg generieren kann. In einer schnelllebigen
Umwelt müssen sich Unternehmen ständig verändern, um im Wettbewerb bestehen zu können. Neben motivierten und leistungsstarken Mitarbeitern muss laufend an neuen Innovationen und verbesserten Produkten gearbeitet werden, um eine hohe Kundenzufriedenheit erreichen zu können. In dieser Arbeit wird ein theoretischer Ablauf des strategischen Prozesses unter Anwendung eines idealtypischen Prozessmodells dargestellt. Dabei wird die Relevanz der einzelnen Prozessschritte deutlich gemacht und wichtige Faktoren, die wesentlichen Einfluss auf den Erfolg einer Strategie haben, erarbeitet.
